"I moved the petrol filling station estate of George Hammond PLC, comprising 9 sites in Kent and Sussex, to Bank Machine some years ago after a difficult experience with HBOS and their successors, CardPoint. The new team at Hatfield immediately made a difference with their enthusiastic, committed and professional approach. Suddenly the outage of the TTW ATMs improved due to Bank Machines monitoring systems and their excellent field support staff. and, of course, our customers gradually began to have more confidence that the ATMs on our sites would be working and available, so usage increased dramatically.
But there still remained a serious problem with the sub-contractors providing the Cash-In-Transit service for cash replenishments. Notes jamming, forgetting access keys, missing a delivery, damaging equipment, the excuses continued as did the poor service.
To their credit, Bank Machine gripped this problem and commenced plans to set up their own bespoke CIT service so that today, the ATM availability performance for their customers is truly ground-breaking.
