BANK MACHINE WINS A WELCOME BREAK!
The UK’s leading ATM Operator, Bank Machine, is today pleased to announce a new partnership with the premier motorway service operator, Welcome Break. From February 2009, Bank Machine will be responsible for the operation of around 150 ATMs across 28 locations in the UK, under a contract previously held by Cashzone
The deal with Welcome Break will bring Bank Machine’s ATM estate to over 2700 across the UK. Bank Machine is the UK division of Cardtronics Inc., the world’s largest ATM operator, and is based in Hertfordshire with nearly 100 staff. The partnership with Welcome Break is one in a series of high profile ATM supplier contracts which Bank Machine has won in recent months, including with a number of leading building societies. With its 24/7 monitoring service, and in-house engineering capacity, Bank Machine can offer a unique service to its customers – and ensure that their ATMs deliver cash 24/7.
Commenting on the Welcome Break contract Ron Delnevo, Managing Director of Bank Machine, said:
"This is a truly excellent contract for Bank Machine to win. I’m proud to be associated with such a strong and long-established brand as Welcome Break. This contract is a credit to our business model, which guarantees the number of cash withdrawals from every ATM is maximised."
Welcome Break’s Chief Executive Officer, Rod McKie, said:
"We are delighted to be joining forces with Bank Machine to provide ATM services in our motorway service areas. Bank Machine’s commitment to outstanding service mirrors Welcome Break’s ethos, and we look forward to working together with the Bank Machine team to provide the very best ATM services for our customers."
