BANK MACHINE CONDEMNS ATTEMPTED ROBBERY AT NEW RAINHILL VILLAGE CASH MACHINE

Bank Machine, the independent ATM operator, today condemned a robbery attempt at the new cash machine in Rainhill Village.

Bank Machine installed the cash machine in late August after the only bank in the village closed, leaving local residents without an alternative service.

Bank Machine was contacted by Rt. Hon. Shaun Woodward MP and local Councillors and businesses urging intervention as the harmful effect of no access to cash became apparent for both villagers and businesses alike.

The new cash machine serves 12,000 villagers, ensuring that local residents no longer have the inconvenience of travelling to other towns therefore allowing them to shop locally.

Ron Delnevo, Managing Director of Bank Machine commented,

“These selfish criminals must realise that we will NEVER give in to their anti social behaviour. We will honour our commitment to maintain a cash service in Rainhill forever.”

Bank Machine is committed to sourcing sites for free to use ATMs in areas with traditionally limited access, for example in NHS hospitals, military bases, colleges and low-income areas to ensure financial inclusion for all.
