Innovations: First To Introduce £5 ATMs
Bank Machine, working closely with the Bank of England, has become the first ATM operator to operate £5 Note Only ATMs.
If your ATM is selected for this exciting innovation, it can help your business in many ways:
- you will see more customers using your ATM, returning more often.
- you will see more £5 notes in your till, usually meaning more sales.
- you will find less pressure on your change. You won't have to give customers huge piles of £1 coins.
- your customers will appreciate the flexibility of withdrawing less money from your ATM. This helps people budget and, in particular, allows small amounts to be withdrawn when money is short.
- it gives you a talking point with your customers. They will enjoy the fact they are helping the whole country by putting more "Favourite Fivers" into circulation.
The last point is an important one, so please resist the temptation to change your customers ATM fivers into 10s or 20s from your till. Instead, ask them to support this truly national campaign by using their fivers whenever they spend their cash!
In short, GIVE FIVERS A MASSIVE "HIGH FIVE" IF THEY ARRIVE IN YOUR BANK MACHINE ATM!
