What power source does an ATM use?

A standard domestic 13 amp power socket, but one that is dedicated to your ATM and not shared with, for instance, the vacuum cleaner once a day! If you ever need to disconnect your ATM, please let our Customer Care Team know on 01707 632888.

What’s the difference between a full-service and a self-fill ATM?

With a full-service ATM, we ensure your ATM is fully stocked and always available to dispense cash. The alternative is self-fill ATMs, where you choose to keep it stocked with good quality notes.

What about servicing?

We do not use contractors, so your machine will always be serviced by one of our dedicated team of in-house engineers who work seven days a week - maintaining only Bank Machine ATMs.

What about insurance?

Bank Machine insures the ATM. If we provide the cash (full service), we insure that too. If you provide the cash (self fill), you insure it.

What if there’s a problem?

We constantly monitor your ATM, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Bank Machine will immediately detect any technical or cash-related problem, and will ensure one of our engineers gets your ATM working as soon as possible. An ATM that can’t dispense cash is not an ATM, so we prioritise all service calls and our engineers are on-call seven days a week. If you ever have a concern, call our Customer Care Team anytime on 01707 632888.
